Make time to pray

After having my faith re-ignited by Magis and World Youth Day in Poland recently (what a blast it all was!), I have come to the realization that in order for my life to flow smoothly, I have to ALWAYS have God as my guide.

He has given me so many loving friends and family, friends who are family and family who are friends 🙂 because He knows that life is not meant to be experienced alone. What I am most grateful for is that within these good relations there is a common good; most of us are “prayer warriors“.

Now I’m not saying if you aren’t a prayerful someone we can’t be friends – sure we can and I’ll pray that you believe too. We will both just have to accept and respect each other’s choices in beliefs.

How often in our days do we get so busy with life that we forget to even say, “Lord I thank you for waking me up today”?  An attitude of gratitude is the best thing to have (and yes, even in the hardest of times, we need to remain faithful and always grateful because someone out there is having things a lot harder than we can even imagine).

As St Ignatius of Loyola’s teachings tell us, let us find God in everything.

So my challenge to you is to make time (even if it’s just 5mins in your day) to say a prayer, not only for yourself but for others too.

Stay blessed always and say your prayers 🙂
